Did you know that in The Episcopal Church, Sundays are Resurrection days? This means that Lenten practices can be relaxed on Sundays as we celebrate our weekly mini-Easter. You will notice that they are indeed called “Sundays IN Lent” (as opposed to “Sundays OF Advent,” for example). So take a little break from your prayerful penitence to play with us at The Tavern!
