Gracious and everliving God, you have created us in your image: Look mercifully upon those who come seeking your blessing, and assist them with your grace, that with steadfast love and true fidelity they may honor and keep the promises and vows they make; through Jesus Christ our Savior, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.  (Book of Common Prayer p. 425)

Holy Matrimony is a gift of God and a means of God's grace, in which the couple become one flesh. It is God's purpose that they give themselves to each other in love, they shall grow together and be united in that love, as Christ is united with his Church.

Holy Matrimony is a sacrament in the Episcopal Church. The marriage ceremony has its own liturgy which is found in The Book of Common Prayer, pages 423-432. It is the only service used for weddings at Christ Church.

The clergy at Christ Church welcome the opportunity to discuss your wedding plans with you. Please contact the Parish Office to make further arrangements.
