Wonder Wednesdays

Sunday School on a Weeknight! Wonder Wednesday is our formation night and a great way to gather as a community. This year, we will have two distinct semesters of 8-9 weeks. Our Fall Semester beings Wednesday, September 20th and runs through to Thanksgiving. We will begin again mid-January and continue through Lent.

5 PM Godly Play for Ages 4 - Grade 6

Godly Play is a Montessori-based opportunity for children's theological reflection. Parents are asked to check-in their children, but are then free to leave campus until we walk over to dinner (which you, of course, do not need to stay for if it does not fit with your plans!).

5:30 PM Lay-led Evening Prayer

Typically attended by adults, this is an offering from a group of parishioners who have found great solace in its practice! A lovely activity while your children are in Godly Playor a gift to yourself before coming to our Parish Dinner (or notall is optional:)

6 PM Parish Dinner

Our Parish Dinner is open to everyone, and we are planning on pizza about every other week:)

6:30 PM Youth Group for Grades 7 - 12

Teens are invited to play, reflect, pray, and serve at Christ Church Youth Group! Friends are more than welcomethe primary focus is on coming together in community!

Godly Play

Our children in Junior Kindergarten through 5th grade are invited to Godly Play from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday evenings in Clare’s Cottage. Please arrive a few minutes before 5:00 p.m. to sign your children in and provide a contact phone number and location where you will be during their time in Godly Play. Children must also be signed out at the end.

But what is Godly Play?

Godly Play is a creative, imaginative approach to Christian formation and spiritual guidance. It nurtures participants to larger dimensions of belief and faith through wondering and play. Godly Play values process, openness, discovery, community and relationships.

Middle School Youth Group

Young people in grades 6-8 are invited to Youth Group Clare’s Cottage from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday evenings.

The Middle School Youth Group will be using the Rite 13 curriculum from Church Publishing. This curriculum allows young people to listen to scripture in a new way, consider their response to what they have heard, and think about what applications it has in their own lives.

High School Youth Group

Young people in grades 9-12 are invited to Youth Group in Clare’s Cottage from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday evenings.
