June 1, 2020 Parables - The Building Blocks of Faith
Children aged 4-5th grade are invited to join Director of Youth and Family, Charlette Preslar, for an 8 week Learn and Grow series, focusing on the parables. Learn and Grow is offered on Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. on Zoom. This new series will provide children the opportunity to explore the parables using Legos!
Participating children will receive a challenge email on Monday, with instructions for a Lego creation to build prior to Tuesday's meeting.
During the Tuesday Zoom call, each child will have the opportunity to share their creation before the telling of the parable. After we hear the parable, we will wonder about how our creation relates to the story we heard. We will also wonder about how the message relates to our own lives!
