April 13, 2021 Come and Pray. Stay to Play!
Come and Pray. Stay to Play! is a brand-new offering that will begin in May. On two Sunday's of each month, families are invited to enjoy the playground together after church. This time of laughter, freedom, and fun is the perfect way for children and grownups to connect!
The first Sunday of the month, beginning on May 2, 2021, will be for our youngest children (ages 1-5) and their families. Youth and Family Minister, Charlette Preslar, will meet families outside the gate and together we will walk across the street to the playground at 901 C. There children can enjoy the play area and parents can get to know each other. If you are not currently attending in-person church, you are still welcome to come to the play time afterward. This is a great way for our toddlers and their families to meet church friends!
The second Sunday of the month, beginning on May 9, 2021, will be for our elementary aged children (ages 6-11) and their families. This play experience will take place on the large climbing structure behind Clare's Cottage. Charlette will open the gate at the end of the service and children and their families are invited in for thirty minutes of post-church fun!
A few important notes about Come and Pray. Stay to Play!
- All Christ Church Covid protocols will continue during playtime. That means that masks are required for children (aged 2 and up) and adults.
- This is a family supervised playtime. The safety and supervision of the children is the responsibility of each child's family.
-
If your family has children in both age brackets, please contact Charlette Preslar to talk about what will work best for your family.
