April 19, 2021 Camp Create Returns!
We are so excited to be able to announce the return of Camp Create! After a one year hiatus in 2020, Camp Create returns for its 4th year this June! This year's theme is God Gives Me Strength! and comes from Philippians 4: 4-13 and will focus on our gifts, how we grow them, how we persevere in hard times, and most importantly, how we share them with others! As always our week will be filled with creativity, using art as a springboard to connect to our faith. We will also continue to share this program with our friends at St. Luke's in North Park.
This year we will need to keep our cohorts smaller, but instead of offering Camp Create to fewer children, we are growing it to TWO WEEKS! Each week will include 12 children from Coronado and 12 children from St. Luke's.
Camp Create is open to children in grades 2-6. First Grade students may be accepted with an older sibling in the program. The cost is $75 per child, with a cap at $175 per family. Registration for this program will open the first week of May and will be first come, first served. Registration is limited to one week per child in order to ensure the maximum number of children are able to participate.
FULL Camp Create Week 1 - Monday, June 21 - Thursday June 24, 2021 - 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
FULL Camp Create Week 2 - Monday, June 28 - Thursday, July 1, 2021 - 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
*Strict Covid-19 protocols will be followed at all times. A full set of guidelines will be provided two weeks prior to the program.
