Sept. 21, 2021 Wednesday Evening Youth Group

The Bridge Youth Group will be splitting back into its previous Middle School and High School groups! This is exciting for many reasons.
  • It enables us to reach the young people where they are developmentally.
  • It allows them to spend time growing friendships with people they will see at school and at church.
  • It means that we are able to structure our Covid-19 policies separately for the two groups.
Please read through the program details and guidelines below. Do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.
Covid-19 Guidelines that apply to both groups: Please do not come to youth group if you are unwell, or if you have been exposed to anyone who has Covid-19 within the last ten days.
Middle School Youth Group - Wednesdays 5-6 p.m. - In front of Clare's Cottage - Our time together will include games, scripture, snacks, and time to grow both in friendship and in faith! Covid-19 Guidelines for Middle School Youth Group: As Sixth Grade students are unable to be vaccinated due to age, this group will gather outside and six feet apart. This will allow us to meet without masks. If we are playing a game or doing an activity that will put us closer together, we will mask up. All students should bring a mask with them to every gathering.

High School Youth Group - Wednesdays 6:30-7:30 p.m. - Inside Clare's Cottage - This group will take a deeper dive into what it means to be a person of faith, talking about scripture, asking good questions, and creating room for each person's voice to be heard. We will also have games, snacks, and lots of laughter! Covid-19 Guidelines for High School Youth Group: As this group meets the age requirements for vaccination against Covid-19, we will follow the Christ Church meeting guidelines. Students will need to bring proof of vaccination to the meeting. Fully vaccinated groups are able to meet inside, and without masks. We will utilize the new youth room in Clare's Cottage. We will keep windows open and run the air purifier during our gathering time. Any student who wishes to wear a mask may, but masks will not be required.
