We see ourselves standing squarely within the Via Media vision of our Anglican ancestors. We welcome all—wherever they may be on their individual faith journeys. We live into “The Invitation” from the Iona Community Worship Book:
THIS IS THE TABLE, NOT OF THE CHURCH BUT OF JESUS CHRIST.
IT IS MADE READY FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM
AND WHO WANT TO LOVE HIM MORE.
SO COME, YOU WHO HAVE MUCH FAITH AND YOU WHO HAVE LITTLE;
yOU WHO HAVE BEEN HERE OFTEN
aND YOU WHO HAVE NOT BEEN FOR A LONG TIME OR EVER BEFORE;
yOU WHO HAVE TRIED TO FOLLOW AND YOU WHO HAVE FAILIED;
coME, NOT BECAUSE THE CHURCH INVITES YOU;
IT IS CHRIST, AND HE INVITES YOU TO MEET HIM HERE.
THE IONA COMMUNITY WORSHIP BOOK
A typical week at Christ Church includes the following services:

10:00 am Holy Eucharist – Rite II with choir and organ
Day School Chapel
8:00 am Tuesday – Holy Eucharist – Rite II
8:00 am Thursday – Morning Prayer with Class Chaplains

From our CAT survey, we learned that 69% of respondents are committed to abide by our unchanging, historic faith, but that a significant minority would welcome flexibility in worship with more diversity in prayers and music.
