We live and serve in a beautiful, southern California seaside village of 25,000 people. Coronado is a charming, picturesque community with a small-town feel and atmosphere. We are surrounded by water with the Pacific Ocean on our west and San Diego Bay on our east, yet we are but a ten-minute drive from downtown San Diego, affording all the benefits and advantages of a large city. Our public schools—two elementary, one middle, and one high school—are consistently ranked among the highest in the county. Our mile long, beautiful public beach has been named in the top ten of family beaches worldwide.

We are proud of our strong U.S. Navy presence—Naval Air Station North Island is the homeport of three of the Navy’s aircraft carriers, and Naval Amphibious Base Coronado is home to the Navy SEALs. Many of our parishioners are active duty and retired military. Our community has evolved over the past few decades from a middle-class military town into a resort community with many residences serving as second homes for families attracted to our wide beaches and family-friendly atmosphere. A small portion of our congregation is made up of these seasonal residents. Coronado is also twenty minutes north of the border from Tijuana, Mexico.
