Christ Church Choir

The adult choir of Christ Church is a vibrant pastoral ministry of prayer, praise, and dedication to leadership in worship. We enjoy a balanced palette of repertoire, from English Tudor to classic-contemporary anthems and hymnody. Under the dynamic leadership of Choir Director Michael Morgan, as well as section leaders, we continue to grow in musical skills as we explore new pieces to share with the congregation and enrich our worship together.

Our Organist-Music Director, Geoffrey Graham and Mr. Morgan enjoy a close collegial association in the selection and presentation of a healthy variety of sacred works.

Altar Guild

The Altar Guild at Christ Church consists of 18 dedicated women divided into three teams of six. Two co-captains for each team coordinate the duties and are the “go to” persons for the priest and the church office.

A team serves for one month each quarter—the six women lovingly prepare for each service on Sundays, and all spend an additional hour on each Saturday during their month reverently cleaning and preparing the Altar for the Sunday worship services. The team assigned for that month also serves during weddings, funerals, or private baptisms. Volunteers from the Guild sign up in advance for Easter and Christmas. We are fortunate to have a wonderful florist who provides and delivers arrangements every Saturday, paid for by parishioners who request them in honor or memory of loved ones.

The Guild gathers quarterly in our Parish Hall to review worship preparations and changes based on the liturgical calendar, followed by luncheon and fellowship.
