There are lots of fun things on the horizon this summer… which will kick-off with the return of Campfire Christ Church. Please find the details for a summer full of fun listed below. Please click on each heading for more information.

Campfire Christ Church

Everyone is invited to come roast a hot dog and make a s'more at Campfire Christ Church Thursday, June 20 at 6:00 p.m. in our courtyard. Please bring your camp chair, friends, family and beverage of choice. Christ Church will provide the food, the fire and of course the fun.

SUMMER FAMILY READ ALOUD

This summer, we invite you to read the book Charlotte’s Web as a family. Their are lots of ways to connect our faith to this wonderful story! There will be a book discussion and movie showing on August 15 at 6:00 p.m.

Camp Create

July 15-18 will find us hosting our third annual offering of Camp Create, a full day arts intensive Vacation Bible School. The camp is currently full, but we are keeping a waitlist. If your child is entering grade 2-5 this coming school year, please contact Charlette Preslar, formation@christchurchcoronado.org to be added to the waitlist!

Farewell Mother Anne

There will be one service at 9:00 a.m., Sunday, July 28, 2019 which will be followed by a celebratory parish brunch in the courtyard. Please join us as we send Mother Anne off with all of our love and gratitude!

Summer Service Schedule

Starting on July 28 and running through Labor Day, September 1, Christ Church will have one service at 9:00 a.m. This amended service schedule will offer us the opportunity to be together as a church family as we both enter into a time of transition and celebrate the ease of summer! As part of this, we take a break from regular faith formation programming and focus on our time together as a parish family. Please stop by the shelves in the back of the church to look for fun activities that can enhance your time in the pew!

FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT

Please join us in Hinde Hall on August 15, at 6:00 p.m. for a conversation about our Summer Read-Aloud, Charlotte’s Web, and a screening of the movie. Please bring your beach chairs or a blanket. You are welcome to bring a picnic dinner if you would like too. We’ll provide the popcorn, water, and a special book themed snack for everyone in attendance. Oh! And one other perk, Hinde Hall is air conditioned!

FAMILY FIRST SUNDAY, SUNDAY SUPPER, AND KIDS PRAISE (a new offering)

Our traditional faith formation programming will return on September 8. Be on the lookout for more information in early August!
