March 19, 2018 Egg Hunting for GOOD!
After the 9:00 a.m. service on Easter morning children at Christ Church will participate in an egg hunt with a twist! The eggs are not filled with candy but with “Christ Church Bucks”. The children may make a donation to one or all of three charities of their choice by placing their “bucks” in designated baskets and then receiving a special Easter treat. At the end of the hunt, the “Christ Church Bucks” will be counted, and the church will write a check to the charity for the amount in each basket, sending the money where the children choose! This year the highlighted charities are: St. Mark’s City Heights Neighborhood Food Cupboard, Vida Joven de Mexico, and Shower's of Blessings. We are excited to offer the children the opportunity to live into the Christ Church motto of Bridging Love and Service.
All are invited to attend the parish’s Easter services; the 6:00 a.m. Easter Vigil with a continental breakfast following, and the 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. Festal Eucharists. There will be nursery care but no Sunday school.
