June 19, 2018 Backpack Drive begins on July 1!
School is just getting out, but it's already time to start preparing for next year! Many children throughout the county start school in early August. As in past years, we will support two diocesan Back 2 School Bash sites – St. Mark's, City Heights, and St. John's, Fallbrook -- as well as provide packs for children living in poverty through North County Lifeline. There are two ways to help! Pick up a supply list, purchase a backpack, fill it and bring it to church by August 1; or donate money so we can purchase backpacks and supplies in bulk on your behalf. We can get filled backpacks for $15 (elementary) and $25 (middle/high school) by buying in bulk, so your cash donations go a long way! We have committed to purchasing 66 filled packs for St Mark’s and 33 for St John’s, and we’ll purchase 150 for North County Lifeline, so our fundraising goal is $4000 for this campaign.
