Oct. 20, 2020 All Saints Day
Christ Church will be honoring Dia de los Muertos as part of our All Saints Day celebration this year. On Sunday, November 1st, there will be a traditional Dia de los Muertos altar set in the Memorial Garden. A traditional altar usually includes pictures of the departed, candles, marigolds, pan de muerto, and many other items. We would like to invite you to bring in photographs of your departed loved ones to include on the altar. Pictures should be 4 x 6, or smaller, and be in a frame.
All pictures should be brought to the Christ Church office no later than Thursday, October 29th at 2:00 p.m. You can visit the altar between 9:00 a.m. and noon on Sunday, November 1st. Please practice social distancing and wait in the courtyard if another family group is in visiting the altar.
If you would prefer to send in a photo for an online memorial slide show...Read more that Sunday click the button and send your photo to the parish office along with the name of your loved one. All online photos must be received by Wednesday afternoon, October 28 @ 4:00 p.m.
The in-person service that Sunday, has a family focus. Please be respectful of those that are worshiping at 10:00 a.m., if you choose to visit at that time.
