July 6, 2020 A Pastoral Letter from Father Michael

Dear Christ Church Family and Friends,

Greetings! I trust you are doing well and staying safe and healthy. Unfortunately, we do not get to see you in person these days, but please know that we are thinking of you and lifting you in our thoughts and prayers. We are grateful that we can be with you on Sundays for the online worship service.

As we endeavor to keep well informed of all that is happening in our post-COVID world, we realize that this deadly virus is still present and continuing to spread. Therefore, it is of paramount importance that we do everything humanly possible to remain safe and healthy.

I would ask that you remain extremely cautious of your surroundings – paying special attention to what you do, where you go, social distancing, wearing a mask and washing your hands often.

As we have painfully discovered, this deadly virus is no respecter of persons and all of us are vulnerable. Let us continue doing our part to stay safe and being good examples to those around us of how we can best stay healthy.

May we continue striving to be “good neighbors.” May we also continue to exercise great faith and trust in the Lord of all things. Remember, the Lord loves you and desires to have daily relationship with you.

Although we cannot predict the future, we can remain confident in the here and now. We know without doubt that God loves us, and we also know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. May we continue to place our complete trust in the Lord.

Please feel free to call upon me anytime for support and prayers. I am here for you. I am blessed and honored to walk with you during this difficult hour as we all strive to model Christ to the world.

In His Service,

Fr. Michael+

“For I know the plans I have for you”, declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
