





Pastoral Care Ministry
The purpose of Pastoral Care Ministry is to promote Christian fellowship, caring and well-being within the parish, and to provide imporved opportunities for increased social contact among parishioners. The mission of Pastoral Care Ministry is to reach out and share God's love by being present and supportive to our parish community. The ministry groups included in Pastoral Care Ministry are:
* Visitation
This group includes the provision of communication via notes and /or phone calls and/or visits to parish members who have special concerns.

* Martha's Cupboard
This group will provide emergency food service for those in need in our parish community.
* Fellowship
This group will be responsible for the hospitality needs for parish community events.
* Lay Eucharisth Visitation (LEV)
This group takes the Eucharist and provides a visit that includes prayer and a connection to Christ Church for parish members who desire a visit and who cannot attend scheduled service.
* Daughters of the King
These women are members of the Pilgrim's of Christ Chapter of the Daughters of the King, an order for women of the Episcopal church.
They meet for prayer, fellowship and study once a month and address urgent needs for prayer. All interested women are invited to participate.
* St. Mary's Guild
Fellowship and friendship among women at Christ Church is the goal of this group of women who meet monthly at member's homes for luncheon and a program. All women are invited to attend.
