Summer 2011 events
A special thanks to our fabulous, faithful choir who lead us in worship EVERY Sunday and all seasonal special services from September through June! May each and every one of the members be blessed by their service to the Lord and our church! The choir will be taking a well deserved summer break beginning July 10th.
The following musicians and groups will be presenting special ministry in music beginning in July:
June 12 - Texas Boys Choir
The Texas Boys Choir, led by S. Bryan Priddy, was founded in 1946 by George Bragg to provide any boy, regardless of socio-economic or ethnic background a structured environment for the development of a world-class performing choir of boys. They will be performing at the 9:00 a.m. Adult Forum and during the 10 a.m. worship service.
Sunday, July 3rd - Westwind Brass Quintet and our choir will be leading us as we celebrate our armed forces for all of our military members and families.
Sunday, July 10 - Michael Morgan special guest soloist
Sunday, July 17 - Angelo Arias (violinist)
Sunday, July 24 - Mary Taylor (or the Taylor family quartet)
Sunday, July 31 - Angelo Arias (violinist) & Christopher Song (cellist)
Sunday, August 7 - Marilyn Reese and Donna Grandi (piano/organ duets)
Sunday, August 14 - Alexndr Agamirzo (tenor soloist)
Sunday, August 21 - Chase Morrin - guest performer
Sunday, August 28 - Alexndr Agamiroz (tenor solist)
Summer Choir Group still needs volunteers - thought you might like to sing in the choir but aren't ready to make the commitment? Try the summer choir - NO prep or weekly rehearsal. Begins on Sunday, July 11th @ 9:00 a.m.- 10:00 a.m. for rehearsal. Robe, process and lead worship @ 10:00 a.m. service. ! Commitment July 10 through Sept. 11th
Chase Morrin returns to our church AFTER being absent from us while. He has been winning many National and International awards, performing, composing while maintaining top grades in advanced study!
