Evangelism Ministry
Learn more about the Evnagelism Ministry by attending the Adult Forum on Sunday, October 28 at 9:00 a.m. where members will be presenting a report about their current mission.
Purpose: To grow the number of active parishioners, and to increase
parishioner involvement in all church activates.
Tasks:
* Revamp the current welcome process and newcomer integration.
* Design programs to specifically welcome members of the armed forces, their families and people visiting from other churches.
* Develop programs to increase wider participation in the life of the
parish within our church family.
* Develop and implement programs of interest to the people in our community.
* Learn why some parishioners rarely attend Sunday services, and collaborate with Pastoral Care to reach out to those no longer attending.
* Encourage child/youth friendly atmosphere.
* Track the success of scheduled events by monitoring attendance.
* Keep Vestry and other Ministries informed of goals and activities
NEWCOMER'S OPEN HOUSE
Calling all Newcomers. Please come to a Newcomers Open House on October 21 from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. at the rectory, 626 Pomona Avenue in Coronado. Invitations were sent to those who began attending services in June. If you are new to Christ Church, but we don’t have your name or address on file, we would encourage you to join us.
