Gather 'Round the Table
Pledge Campaign 2010
Our parish ministries continue to develop programs and opportunities for growth. New challenges, new achievements, and new members point to a vital future in which we all can participate. We continue to worship in a beautiful sanctuary, maintaining our Episcopal and local traditions. Our mission-driven budget focuses on service to members, and growing ministries. We have completed extraordinary repairs and improvements to our facilities. As you can see in our weekly e-Communicator, at our worship services, or during a mid-week visit, this is a parish working to expand God's kingdom.
During our fall stewardship campaign, our Rector met with fifteen small groups at parishioner homes to discuss the meanings of stewardship and the future of our church. These were very successful in stimulating discussion and generating new ideas. After the campaign officially completed in November, we celebrated the in-gathering of our pledges received on November 29, the first Sunday of the Advent season.
We have now received over 160 pledges for 2010, which is a powerful statement of support by parish families. As grateful as we are for this support, in order to fulfill several new initiatives planned by our Vestry for 2010, we really need to receive about 250 pledges. We are especially hopeful that every member of Christ Church will make a pledge for 2010.
If you have not already done so, please consider making a financial commitment to Christ Church in the form of a pledge for 2010. You can download a pledge card or you can make your pledge on-line by clicking the "Make Your 2010 Pledge" button on this page.
Opportunities for giving include automatic payments that can be done through the button on this page.
Let us all join together in commitment and community as we pledge to the ministries of Christ Church for 2010.
