Pledge Update - April 23, 2008
To date 192 pledge cards have been received totaling $483,979 - a little over $16,000 short of our 2008 campaign goal of $500,000.
If you have not yet pledged - it's not too late. This is a year-round campaign. The size of your pledge is not as important as your commitment to the support of this parish and its mission. Join with your fellow parshioners in their work to proclaim the love of Christ for all. Pledge today.
Last year over one hundred members of Christ Church engaged in a four month long planning process called ReVision. The time and work our Parish put into this process has paid off! We now have a new mission and vision for the work of our church and seven core active ministries are hard at work setting this plan in motion.
During this process the Parish identified the development of a mission driven budget as the one year goal for the Vestry. Therefore this year's pledge campaign is focused on three key areas:
- Supporting the mission driven work of our new ministries.
- Providing the necessary financial support to successfully complete the calling process for a new Rector.
- Fulfilling our stewardship duty to maintain our beloved Christ Church and her grounds and facilities.
Our special handout will give you a better idea of what is planned in these areas. In order for us to support this mission driven budet we have set a pledge campaign goal of $500,000.
