Baptism is more than a momentary act, it is the beginning of a lifelong pilgrimage...
This Sacrament is administered to adults who are ready to publicly affirm their faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, and their intention to dedicate their lives to his service. Baptism may also be administered to children of baptized Christians, who have demonstrated that they are ready to carry out the promise that they will bring up their child in the family of the Church.
Baptism at Christ Church is normally offered on the five Sundays designated in the Book of Common Prayer; The Baptism of Christ (January), a Sunday in the Easter Season, Pentecost (late spring), All Saints Day (November) and the occasion of the visit of the Bishop.
Prior to the sacrament being performed, all parents will be asked to spend a few moments with our priest and to attend a Baptism program. Please call or e-mail the Parish Coordinator at the church office to make these arrangements and for a schedule of up-coming baptisms.
