April 5, 2018 To Guatemala with Love
This summer 17 diocesan youth, including four from Christ Church, are headed to Guatemala on a mission trip. While they are there they will participate in several construction projects, have the opportunity to build relationships with the community, and even hike the Mayan ruins. The 17 youth in question represent 7 parishes in our diocese. These incredible young people come from every back ground imaginable.
In just two weeks, Christ Church will host, Around the World in 63 Days, one of 4 fundraisers being held across the diocese to ensure that regardless of means, each member of the Guatemala delegation is able to go on this trip. Around the World in 63 Days will feature food from six countries, music, a photo booth, incredible silent auction items, and the opportunity to shower these young people with love and prayers as they prepare for this incredible undertaking.
